The CSPA Summer Ball hits new heights!

Last Friday saw 190 parents and friends greeted by the School’s very own and extraordinarily talented jazz band, a glass of bubbly and a plethora of CSPA volunteers all eagerly encouraging purses and wallets to be opened, drinks purchased and auction lots signed up for.

Within the wonderful surroundings of a woodland-inspired marquee on Cornwallis field, the Headmaster opened the Ball by regaling attendees with details of the School’s GETOUT! project to develop outside spaces for our students, to which funds raised by the Ball will contribute.

A welcome from CSPA Chair Georgina Stephenson was followed by hilarious comedian Russell Hicks who really worked the room, evidenced by the raucous laughter of those he didn’t pick on!

First course was followed a live auction led by the man with the gavel, governor Richard Vinton.

After a wonderful dinner, guests danced to The Masqueraders, only finishing in the early hours when everyone was exhausted.

This thoroughly enjoyable and fun evening was only made possible by the hard work of a host of volunteers and the CSPA committee, generous donations from our local sponsors and the support of those who attended.

Thank you everyone!
