Executive Committee Post Holders
Henrietta has a long association with Cranbrook, as her father was a boarder at the School during the war. He remembered well the day in June 1944 when a German flying bomb or ‘Doodlebug’ was heard descending and apparently certain to land on or adjacent to the School, but mercifully veered off and crashed into Big Side. Miraculously, no one was killed or injured.
Henrietta's four children have all attended Cranbrook, with her oldest joining in 2008 and her youngest, Joey Leckie, currently in his final year. She has been part of the CSPA for most of this time and Chair for the last four years.
Henrietta is a languages teacher and has taught at the French Lycée, Dulwich Prep and abroad. She now teaches yoga, tutors and teaches English to refugees as part of Kent Kindness.
