Webster Girls were the worthy winners of this year’s Cranbrook School Bake Off with an extravagant showstopping creation that beat off strong competition from the Year 7 and Crowden teams in a nail-biting final.
Having been briefed to design a centrepiece celebration cake to mark this weekend’s royal wedding, Webster Girls opted for iced flowers and icing figures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle,..
…while Crowden opted for a fruity Union Jack theme…
…and Y7 decorated their creation imaginatively with strawberries and wild foliage.
Rather fittingly, the finalists were presented with Mary Berry baking books, funded by the CSPA, to hone their impressive talents even further.
