Secondhand Trainers & Football Boots needed please!

Following the very successful appeal for football boots last year, charity Kent Kindness www.kentkindness.org.uk has asked whether parents would kindly be able to donate secondhand trainers - sizes 7 to 11 - for the refugee boys at their Reception Centres.

Kent Kindness offers support and hope to young asylum seekers and refugees who are living in Kent. Their central project is to give the young people classes in life skills and basic English, but they are also involved in offering them a range of other educational, sporting and social opportunities.

If you have any trainers, please leave them in a bag in the hall cupboard in Barham House, and mark the bag 'Kent Kindness'. They would also be very grateful for any more football boots (sizes for boys 14 to 18 years old).

As ever, thank you for your support.
