There were memories aplenty to take-away from the CSPA’s Chinese Quiz NIght, which raised an impressive £700 – it’s highest total in recent years – and attracted around 100 parents and friends of Cranbrook School. CSPA photographer Emma-Louise Ogilvy was there to capture the action!
Ten teams battled it out in a keenly-fought contest that tested everyone’s knowledge on everything from bridges across the world to rock music and even Star Trek!
Leading from the front is new CSPA chair Henrietta King who was elected before the quiz got under way.
The man with all the answers . . . quiz-master extraordinaire Rob Miller, who admirably kept the questions rolling.
Thumbs up from the culinary team, led by Graeme Edmonds, who served up food for thought with a fabulous Chinese feast.
Odd poses, awkward stances . . . it’s gotta be that old favourite, heads and tails.
Hardy hopefuls snap up tickets for the raffle, where prizes ranged from designer toiletries to chocolate treats.
Beaming smiles all round from a clutch of keen contenders . . .
Serious discussions – these two ladies look as though they mean business!
And so to the winning team . . . the rather intriguingly-named Alvin and the Chipmunks who triumphed and won a bottle of bubbly and a clutch of Easter eggs!
Big thanks to everyone who helped to organise and run this fun Quiz Night, and many thanks to the CSPA’s loyal supporters. Hope to see you at the next event!
