Following the very successful appeals for football boots and trainers last year, we have been asked again by charity Kent Kindness www.kentkindness.org.uk for donations of secondhand trainers and football boots (adult sizes 7 to 11) and also t-shirts, hoodies, tracksuit bottoms for 16-17yr old refugee boys at their Reception Centres.
Kent Kindness offers support and hope to young asylum seekers and refugees who are living in Kent. Their central project is to give the young people classes in life skills and basic English, but they are also involved in offering them a range of other educational, sporting and social opportunities.
Please leave any donations in a bag in the hall cupboard in Barham House, and mark the bag 'Kent Kindness'.
