Burns Night Supper Success

The 9th Annual Burns Supper was once again great fun and entertainment for all who attended.

After cocktails in the Queens Hall, John Weeds commenced the supper with the Selkirk Grace. Our school chef, Graeme Edmonds then served a delicious traditional meal, starting off with Haggis, dramatically piped in by David Leckie and ceremoniously toasted by Fraser Johnston. There followed inspiring toasts by Dermott Woolgar and Sarah Maxwell and a wonderful live medley of Scottish classics played beautifully by Cranbrook students and led by violinist Ingrid Fox.

The Scottish Dancing was a highlight enjoyed by everyone. Reeling, spinning and  setting to partners, Cranbrook parents celebrated the night with gusto!

Thank you very much to all who attended and contributed to such an entertaining evening and to those who helped to make it happen! The CSPA made just over £1600 from ticket, bar and raffle sales.
