Your Contribution: CSPA-funded Spectators’ Pavilions installed!

THANK YOU!

A huge thank you to all those parents and friends who contributed to the Cranbrook School Parents’ Association funds over the years. As a result of your participation, another significant “little extra” was gifted to the school.

PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION KEEPS YOU DRY

Over the years, countless parents have turned up in all sorts of inclement weather to watch their offspring give their all for the betterment of their and Cranbrook School’s reputation as sporting icons. Heroic efforts by a small group of resolute parents have kept them refreshed with warm drinks and homemade cakes. Despite the availability of these ‘home comforts’ staying dry was forever a challenge. BUT NOT ANYMORE!

Thanks to monies raised from you, our parents, at events such as our Quiz Night, Burns Supper, Apple Fair, Second Hand Uniform Shop and many, many more activities, the CSPA has funded the purchase and erection of TWO PAVILIONS – one by the ASTRO PITCH and another on SCOTT FIELD. So if you’re into watching hockey, netball or tennis these are the places for you to enjoy the matches, keep warm and dry and meet up with like-minded souls.

The CSPA would like to thank the “field team” who made this happen: Tony Bailey and John Hislop with the estate team for building the bases and installing the pavilions, and Georgina Roberts for proposing, researching, leading and seeing through this improvement project.

But most of all, we would like to THANK YOU, THE PARENTS, who participated and contributed your time and money to make these “little extra” gifts from the CSPA to the school at all possible.
